hummm, why ? August 20, 2007 Jose Alves Goncalves 6 out of 10 found this review helpful
Can't really understand some passionate reviews about a headset??? "don't buy it", please???, what gives? this is a headset, it isn't good or bad, it's a simple headset!, it behaves like one, it looks like one, and believe me it isn't nothing more nor less than, an... headset!
useless August 6, 2007 D. tona 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ill keep it short and simple. It was very fun talking to people. I made some great friends on it (hence the 5 star fun), but after 2 weeks it broke (hence the 1 star overall). It was very flimsy and weak. After two weeks i got a loose connection so my speaker wouldn't work. After another day and a little jiggling of the cable the headphone stopped working aswell. Complete utter useless. Id recommend getting a wireless one so you dont fall victim to this neussence.
Communication To Anyone On The Globe Is Just One Step Away! June 25, 2007 Mrs. Dawnc Alexandre (Jersey (CI)) You usually get one of these Headsets free for when you get a XBox 360 console, and believe me. On certain occasions, it is sometimes better using one of these to talk to all of your friends with your voice rather than typing all those text messages you do on the computers or mobile phones! You simply plug in the headset on the bottom centre of the controller, whilst the headset attaches to you (obviously). You can place the speaker either on your left or your right side of your ear alongside the microphone. Once all that's done, all you have to do is switch the microphone button on, located at the controller area and then you can speak whatever you want and whenever you want to. If the person on the other end has a headset they can talk to you back which is far better than typing a message and knowing to yourself, they won't receive it for another 2 minutes! A disadvantage though is the strength of the microphone is very weak and it can be easily broken if dropped, stepped on, tangled up, and even sat on as well. When online as well and talking away, sometimes your voice on the other end lags and you may have to repeat the conversations you did all over again which can sometimes be a fit frustrating! My Grade For The Gadget: 8.5/10: Excellent, Wonderful, Good One My Wish: As I said earlier, I wish for better improvements on the voice quality with these microphones as they can lag the other person may have to ask you to repeat your conversation again, which can be a bit annoying, but understandable! Final Comments: I accidentally bought another one of these headsets, but I'm keeping it as a spare! I highly recommend one of these for if you have XBox Live and you are attempting to go online! Communication is one step away!! Review By Captain Chris Kipper!
Hasn't put a foot wrong for me. April 24, 2007 Darren Green (North East England, UK) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
As the title says, this hasn' put a foot wrong with me up to now (5 month in, using it for atleast an hour every day.) It doesn't crackle, or stop working for no apparent reason. It does feel flimsy I admit, and isn't worth the price. It came free with my X Box bundle so I didn't have that problem however. If you're into playing Live, this is a must. It adds a whole other dimension to the gameplay and makes the whole experience a million times better. Especially for Online shooters, this is a must.
Just doesn't work April 11, 2007 Simon Brown (Doncaster, UK) 3 out of 11 found this review helpful
What a useless piece of equipment. Crackles like mad, randomly stops working, sounds absolutely terrible, plus it's the most flimsy thing you've ever used. It's a crime that Microsoft haven't released a working one by now.
