About Nintendo's DS The best-selling video game system in the world grabs attention with a splash of color and looks good whether it's toted in your school backpack, pulled from your purse, or riding with you on a family trip. The new Pokemon-themed Nintendo DS handheld game system joins Polar White, Coral Pink, Onyx, Crimson/Black, and Cobalt/Black. The Nintendo DS Lite is a high-powered handheld video game system in a sleek folding design loaded with features for a unique gaming experience. The color screens are now even brighter and the lower touch screen provides a totally new way of playing and controlling games. Use the built-in wireless mode to share games, chat or even play multiplayer games on-line via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Play impressive 3-D rendered Nintendo DS games and play all your favorite Game Boy Advance games in single player mode. Nintendo DS Lite comes with a variety of distinctive changes that set it apart from the original: It's less than two-thirds the size of the original Nintendo DS and more than 20 percent lighter. Its two bright screens can be adjusted to four levels to adapt to different lighting conditions and to extend battery power. The microphone sits in the center of the unit and the LED lights are clearly visible whether the unit is open or closed. The stylus is 1 centimeter longer and 1 millimeter thicker than the stylus of the original and slides into a side storage slot. The Start and Select buttons were repositioned for easier access. A removable cover keeps the Game Boy Advance cartridge slot clear from dust and debris when it's not in use. With the Nintendo DS Headset, you can talk and chat over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or voice command games.Features: View larger. | View larger. | View larger. | System With Nintendo DS Lite, dual screens and touch-screen technology allow you to interact with games like never before. Crimson Nintendo DS with Brain Age 2 November 24, 2008 Ciakiara (Colonial Beach, VA) This is a great hand-held system that has a professional appearence that's fits easily into a pursue or glove compartment. It's a wonderful product for working adults who want a little gaming excitement in their life. Brain Age 2 is a simple but wonderful game that truly develops the brain. You can train your brain by playing 1-2 minute games that test and develop your memory. I think it's a product that is worth your investment.
Good November 3, 2008 Suchart Tangjarukij (Bangkok, Thailand) This was the second NDS for my family, the fist one was bought a year ago. We can play multiplayers mode with my son and have fun with him.
A good deal September 25, 2008 J. Quach 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
While Pokemon is geared towards children, this DS lite actually has a pretty mature art style. Images certainly don't do the thing justice. It's much better looking in person. The outside is cobalt/black and the inner lining is actually a dark shade of gray. I like that effect. A word of caution, the box is much more difficult to open than you might expect. It's flaps are simply glued in place. If you're buying this for your children, you probably should supervise the process or open it for them.

Shipping Problem September 12, 2008 D. Souza (East Longmeadow, Massachusettes) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I ordered this expecting to get it in a reasonable amount of time, but waited over a week. Was buying it for our son's birthday and just made it. But the overall product is great and he is enjoying it.
