Decent running shoe - maybe better for treadmill or pavement. It has a very stable base - that seems wide. I am not sure I would want to do running in them - but they are very comfy to wear around - doing athletic stuff in. I wear tennies everyday - and I love this as an everyday shoe. Super super comfy and gives good foot support.
