I ORDERED THIS CAP FOR MY DAD FOR CHRISTMAS. HE IS IN IS 70'S AND WAS REMEMBERING AS A BOY ON HIS PAPER ROUTE WEARING A CAP THAT THEY NOW CALL A NEWSBOY CAP. I REALLY HAD NO CLUE. I WAS ONLY GOING ON HIS DESCRIPTION. I RECEIVED IT TWO DAYS AFTER ORDERING IT. SO THANKS TO THIS COMPANY FOR THE GREAT TURNAROUND TIME. THE CAP WAS A HIT. MY DADS EYES LIT UP LIKE I HAVEN'T SEEN IN A WHILE. SO I HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD. IT WAS A PERFECT FIT. MY DAD HAS A BIG HEAD AND IT FIT PERFECTLY WITH THE ADJUSTABLE BAND IN THE BACK. IT WAS SUCH A BIG HIT THAT MY DAD ASK ME TO ORDER ONE FOR MY BROTHER WHO ENVIED IT. SO HERE I AM AGAIN. SO GO AHEAD AND TAKE YOUR CHANCE WITH THIS COMPANY, I AM GLAD I DID.

I had these hats from my grandfather who wore them all of the time, and I thought that they really looked cool, as I am a "HAT PERSON", I wear Derby's, Bolers, Godfather's (like Michel Corleone" wore in G'FatherIII.)
(Along with the Black heavy Coat with the heavy fur collar.)
I was called many things but, all were positive, no one would take a chance to do otherwise, though I never put on a "FACE" it just looked that way!
I wear the "newsboy cap" all over for one reason...I am COOL! and this hat may be too big but it is cool too!and I will buy more as this in the best "NEWSBOY " hats I have found...I tried to go to "hat specialists", where I found my Panama "SCALA" Hats, and he had no idea of what I was talking about when I tried to tell them all waht I was speaking of: Isaid:"Flat-caps" "Irish types", The hat "Simply RED" wore, and then "Stevie Raye Vaughan" wore often on the street when he wasn't wearing his "TEX-MEX" hats, and those with the long plumes he had on his white one he wore in the "1982 Monterey Jazz Fest".
Well, Amazon showed me where to look, and "B~I~N~G~O"...I have it and will get a few more, if they keep the price low enough.
I found one thing I did NOT like on it, IT TOOK ALL OF THE "available velcro" to make it as small as I needed. (I take a size 7 cap/hat), and all of my USA made hats fit, but let's find some made in the USA who know people who are European have smaller heads than the Large Round Chinese head...I "EMBARGOED" China and their paramours for persueing Commie Atomic Bombs for Pakistan, No. Korea, and the other warring countries...I'd rather shave my head as I did many years back, that wear cheap rip-through socks, underwear, from "WHITE-SLAVERS" who are by Constitution: Communists, and have stated that they will defeat Capitalists and the Democracies of this world"...Guess who that might be, and our GVMT. promised to give them another $9.Billion for this year alone, so I have my likes, dislikes, and please I do NOT dislike the Chinese as they are victims more than we are, it's their trouble-making Government I can't stand, and which Russia gave up "as an empty bag" of empty promises.

This cap arrived exactly on time. The fit is true to size, and the cap looks basically as pictured. However, it is not flat like a typical cabbie hat. It pouches up a bit on the sides in the front. I think that this gives it a more interesting look. The charcoal gray is a true tweedy gray.
