A Crucial Upgrade January 7, 2009 jT (Southeast MO United States) Recommended by Amazon for upgrading the MSI Wind. Dropped in, recognized by the system and up and running. Have not done much with this module and overclocking in the Wind yet. . . The O.C. guys on the MSI forums seem to like Corsair or OCZ DDR2 800 . . . jT
Works for the MSI Wind January 6, 2009 gosvaz (Costa Rica) Works perfect on my MSI Wind Model:U-100 Just be ready to void warranty seal :)
Helps an Asus eee 4g December 16, 2008 OneManBand (Harrisonburg, VA) Bought this product to double my memory in the small and handy asus eee laptop. My setup uses Ubuntu 8.10. The memory worked like a charm. It was a snap to install and I experience fewer memory related problems.
worked just fine December 2, 2008 John H. Bush
No issues with the ram. Install was easy-got the instructions on the web.
Makes MSI Wind U100 even better November 11, 2008 J. M. Derkos (Detroit, MI) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I plugged this into my MSI Wind U100 (took about 5 minutes) and noticed an immediate improvement in performance. I then went on to install Windows Vista on my machine, and it runs perfectly. If you have an MSI Wind U100, or are considering buying one, you must install extra memory (but please look into what this will do to your warranty - I have read mixed accounts on the web about how doing so will impact your ability to return your MSI Wind laptop)
