Basic printer, good for home use, good price. Not too happy with the paper path as it slides out of place on its own though. Otherwise, I am content with my purchase.

I know I should not be posting this here, but I just bought this printer at BIG LOTS for 22.00 plus tax about 24.00. I got the Black carts at walmart for 17.00. The printer comes with a sample of color. The color cart is about a $1.00 higher. For the price, I am very pleased. I, too, printed pics using the color cart that came with the printer and was very surprised and happy at the results, better than my other two printers with scanners!! IF you have a BIG LOTS near you, hurry up and get one, if not go online at Biglots.com and find a store near you. Off sale they are 29.95, if I remember right. Sorry Amazon...but we gotta save $$$$$$!!

We've had good experience with Lexmark for our other computer and this doesn't dissapoint. If you need a an inexpensive printer that has some quality this is it

I loved this printer when I first used it....until the "sample" ink cartridge, which came with it, ran out. Then WOW! Sticker shock! The printer was only 26.99 which is half the price of the replacement cartridges! Check out the price of lexmark 28 , 29, 34 and 35 ink before you buy! I can buy another printer, in a different brand, cheaper and have less expense in the long run! (I tried off brand ink, printer rejected it as wrong cartridge)
