Product Description FEATURES- Guitar Hero II X360 Unleash Your Inner Rock Star!! Guitar Hero II is a rhythm-based music game that builds on the award-winning success of Guitar Hero. Shred Lead, Rhythm or Bass Guitar tracks in over 6 modes of play on over 55 licensed rock and roll songs all on a custom guitar-shaped controller. As with the previous games in the series, this game successfully fulfills the fantasy of what it's like to be a rock star. * Killer Soundtrack Guitar Hero II features over 55 jaw-dropping tracks. * Jam With Friends Grab a friend and form your own rock band in Co-op Mode! One player shreds on the lead guitar and the other jams on either the bass or rhythm guitar. Want to see who can rule the stage the best? Go head-to- head with a friend in Pro Face-Off mode. * Characters Born to Shred The 11 characters in Guitar Hero II are as fun and unique as the music they play! Guitar Hero II features three new Guitar Heroes: The rockabilly-greaser Eddie Knox, the beautiful (but tough) Casey Lynch, and the Scandinavian metal super-star Lars Umlaut. * Venues Built to Rock Go from a cramped high school gym all the way to a huge outdoor festival at Stonehenge! Each of the 8 venues in Guitar Hero II features incredible song-specific lighting and intricate sets. * Practice Mode: A Rock Star's Best Friend It's going to take some practice to sell out stadiums and have fans screaming your name! With Practice Mode, budding rock stars can pick any song, and practice specific sections, and even slow it down.

Best guitar hero October 16, 2008 Jay Guitar Hero 2 was the best Guitar Hero made so far. If you only own GH3 you have to try this one.
Video Game maybe; but wow.... August 22, 2008 Terri L. Cunningham This shouldn't fall under the category of Video "game". It takes so much more hand/eye coordnation than the average video game. Watching the competitions is almost as much fun as being at a live concert. Beieve me, when the song is done, the players are sweating. So this is a great video game that gets the kids up off the couch and moving, even if they don't know it!
Best GH game so far February 3, 2008 Denzel Lockheart (Edmonton, Canada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love Guitar Hero Games, and I have been a fan ever since I got GH3 for Christmas. I recently bought GH2 for XBOX 360 (I have an XBOX 360 now), and I love it even better. Now here are the characters: JOHNNY NAPALM: My favorite character. He's in his 20s and he has a mohawk. It's awesome just to see him rock out on stage. JUDY NAILS LARS UMULAT XAVIER STONE GRIM RIPPER IZZY SPARKS PANDORA EDDIE KNOX and CASEY LYNCH. Now here are the tracks: "Surrender" - Cheap Trick "Possum Kingdom" - Toadies (1994) "Heart-Shaped Box" - Nirvana "Salvation" - Rancid (1994) "Strutter" - Kiss "Shout at the Devil" - Moetley Cruee (Encore) "Mother" - Danzig "Life Wasted" - Pearl Jam "Cherry Pie" - Warrant "Woman" - Wolfmother "You Really Got Me" - Van Halen "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight" - Spinal Tap (Encore) "Carry on Wayward Son" - Kansas "Search and Destroy" - Iggy Pop and the Stooges "Message in a Bottle" - The Police "Billion Dollar Babies" - Alice Cooper "Them Bones" - Alice in Chains "War Pigs" - Black Sabbath (Encore) "Monkey Wrench" - Foo Fighters "Hush" - Deep Purple (1968) "Girlfriend" - Matthew Sweet "Who Was In My Room Last Night?" - The Butthole Surfers "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" - The Rolling Stones "Sweet Child O' Mine" - Guns N' Roses (Encore) "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo" - Rick Derringer "Tattooed Love Boys" - The Pretenders "John the Fisherman" - Primus "Jessica" - The Allman Brothers Band "Bad Reputation" - Thin Lizzy "Last Child" - Aerosmith (Encore) "Crazy on You" - Heart "Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart" - Stone Temple Pilots "Dead!" - My Chemical Romance "Killing in the Name" - Rage Against the Machine* "Freya" - The Sword "Stop" - Jane's Addiction (Encore) "Madhouse" - Anthrax "The Trooper" - Iron Maiden (Best band EVER) "Rock This Town" - Stray Cats "Laid to Rest" - Lamb of God "Psychobilly Freakout" - Reverend Horton Heat "YYZ" - Rush (Encore) "Beast and the Harlot" - Avenged Sevenfold "Carry Me Home" - The Living End "Institutionalized" - Suicidal Tendencies "Misirlou" - Dick Dale "Hangar 18" - Megadeth "Free Bird" - Lynyrd Skynyrd (Encore) The only thing I don't like is that they only use covers. Anyways, awesome game!
Best of the 4 so far... December 14, 2007 MARCUSHELBLINZ (St. Louis, MO USA) this is do good! i spent hours playing this! i was so excited about gh3 and when i bought it i was greatly disappointed- they just completely added so many bad features and took away so many good ones. but i just went back to this one. it is the best game i have ever played (except gta)
Better songs than GH3 November 15, 2007 Eric S. Olstad (New Jersey, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Guitar Hero 3, in my opinion has a better interface and better visuals than 2. 2, however, has much better songs. But both games are great and I would recommend them to anyone. If you haven't played this game, it's basically like Dance Dance Revolution with a guitar and good music. It also offers skill ranges for all players. It's a fun game to play at parties and it's incredibly addictive. I highly recommend.
