Product Description NBA LIVE 09 is back. It rewrites the book on authenticity and connectivity - but is still accessible enough for new users. Dynamic DNA emulates - with absolute precision - an NBA player in every sense of the word. NBA LIVE 365 takes the statistical data of Dynamic DNA and brings it to life. Just like the real NBA game, players get injured, free agents sign late, great players go cold and no-names break through.
Player DNA Progression - see the progress and changes to any player's DNA after an NBA LIVE 365 update Player Tendencies - the percentage a player drives left, right or shoots from each spot on the floor Lockdown Control - risk reward system FIBA Expanded - compete in an international tournament using authentic FIBA rosters and a choice of 24 teams Pick and Roll Control - control both the ball handler and the screener 5 vs. 5 Online Team Play - All 10 players on the court can now be controlled by users on 10 different consoles around the world Signature Playcalling - pushes on-court visualization to guide you through the play Online Leagues 2.0 - Create your own league with drafting, trades and a custom playoff format NBA Academy - hone your skills Create your own highlight reel then upload it to EA SPORTS World Quickstrike AnkleBreakers - Force your defender to step up and guess what you'll do next On the cover - Tony Parker - In his 7 NBA seasons, the 26 year old is a two-time NBA All-Star, has 3 NBA championships and was named the 2007 NBA Finals MVP

Great Basketball Game December 16, 2008 Amazon Reviewer29 I totally enjoy playing this nba game. It has very good graphics and awesome game play. One the main features I like is the nba live 365. It automatically downloads data daily from the servers to update your game with changes in the nba. These changes include trades, injuries and how the teams and players are performing. This game comes with one year free of the nba live 365 service. If you love playing basketball on the xbox 360 I would recommend this game without a doubt. I got it for a little less than [...]. Totally worth every penny.
WORST B-BALL GAME EVER November 17, 2008 Brian C. Booth (West Greenwich, Rhode Island United States) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I buy NBA Live every year, and have always been very satisfied with it, always preferring it over 2K. This year's version, however, is a serious disappointment. I have never hated playing a basketball game so much. It is extremely difficult to complete even the most basic pass without it being stolen. Alley-oops are nearly impossible to complete, and even the other team's lowest rated player will easily score 30+ points on you any given night, while you're best player bricks lay-up after lay-up (and this was all done in ROOKIE mode). Definately gonna have to try 2K this year, as EA has put out a serious DUD of a product.
unreadable disk November 10, 2008 idiot dude Although I do not think it is the fault of Amazon, my xbox has a hard time reading this game most of the time. It says disk unreadable during games all the time. Amazon was nice enough to send me a new game free of charge but the new one freezes all the time as well. If the game does not freeze though, it is absolutely awesome.
Way better that NBA 2K9! October 15, 2008 Eric101962 (Brooklyn, New York United States) 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
I first purchased NBA 2K9 and the game was good but they really messed up the online play from last year. I think they did a horrible job. I traded the game in for NBA Live 09 and I have to say I was not disappointed. I actually think the game is better than NBA 2K9. The graphics are good and the game is way more fun. I have to say I haven't bought a NBA Live game since NBA Live 05 so I wasn't a fan for a few years. NBA 2K9 made me go back to NBA Live 09. I am happy I did. The Live 365 feature is really hot. They also have a practice where a trainer helps you work on your weaknesses. Get this game. You will not be disappointed. The online play is great. Way better then NBA 2K9.
EA blew this big time! October 14, 2008 Drifter (Texas,USA) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have never gave a game made by Ea sports a total bad review because I like their sports games of any sport. But this game is absolutely horrible in every way. From graphics to gameplay to presentation they royally messed this one up. I enjoyed and still enjoy NBA live 08 a good solid game but I think they didn't care or was drunk when they put this one together. The NBA 365 concept might be ok but if you don't have XBox live this game is pointless. The graphics are blurred, the players move like they are high on something and you don't feel like you have total control. What happened EA? They fell off the wagon big time here. I'm going to try NBA2k9 I hear it is really good.
